Outreach and Service
Here are a few of the representative outreach and service activities in which we have participated. We look forward to further enriching the scientific knowledge and promoting service within our community.
Into the Streets
Oklahoma State University Into the Streets is a one-day event that occurs every semester. It is a day of meaningful community service to serve the elderly, disabled, and those in need in the city of Stillwater. ZoGSS is proud to work with this organization every semester serving the community of Stillwater.
Science Club
ZoGSS has partnered with Highland Elementary School to provide an after school science club. Every spring science club culminates in a BioBlitz Science Fair.
Wildlife Expo
The Wildlife Expo is an annual event hosted by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife and Conservation Department to celebrate the states natural resources and wildlife. ZoGSS runs a booth at this multi-day event every fall.
